Deskripsi
Ekstensometer magnetik terdiri dari beberapa komponen, yaitu cincin penginderaan, indikator magnetik, pipa akses, aksesori pipa, dan bagian teleskopik. Komponen cincin penginderaan mencakup cincin pelat, cincin laba-laba, dan cincin datum. Berdasarkan panjang pengukurannya, indikator magnetik tersedia dalam jenis 50, 100, 200, 300, 350, dan 500 meter.
Produsen melengkapi indikator magnetik dengan lampu dan bel yang terhubung ke sakelar buluh dalam probe. Pita pengukur memiliki kelulusan atau skala untuk menunjukkan kedalaman. Dua kabel listrik di dalam pita menghubungkan probe dan indikator magnetik.
Pengguna dapat memilih pipa akses antara pipa penyangga ABS atau selubung inklinometer. Jenis cincin magnet harus sesuai dengan tipe pipa akses. Selama pengukuran, operator menurunkan probe ke dalam pipa akses.
Saat probe memasuki medan magnet, lampu akan menyala dan bel berbunyi. Titik aktif lampu dan bel menandakan posisi magnet. Pengguna membaca kedalaman dari kelulusan pada pita pengukur.
Jika pengguna menanam pipa akses hingga ke tanah stabil, maka kedalaman magnet direferensikan ke magnet datum di dasar pipa. Namun, jika bagian bawah pipa belum mencapai tanah stabil, maka referensi berada di bagian atas pipa. Sebelum memulai pengukuran, kalibrasi alat menggunakan pengukur level harus dilakukan.

Access pipe
